Quietly productive
Nov. 25th, 2001 08:16 pmWell, I found several jobs that at least seem possible. Some of them are a decent-sized commute, but I'll apply for them and worry about the commute later.
I'm going to wait to send off resumes until I see a doctor about my knee (hopefully, tomorrow). I think that it might actually be broken. At least, when I put my hand on my knee and move it, it moves differently from the other one. It took most of my weight and the weight of a 70-pound monitor when I fell on it. Anyway, we'll see.
I've been working hard on cleaning out my home office, which had also turned into a storage room-;) I've made good progress. By the end of next weekend, I should have most of the place in decent shape, and can start tackling the garage.
I also need to wrap Christmas presents tonight so that I can mail them tomorrow. My mom's Xmas present is at limbo at Barnes and Noble, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that.
