Good news on the cat front
Nov. 6th, 2004 12:11 pmI let Nima out (out of her room into the rest of the condo) for about 8 hours yesterday. Random got along beautifully with her. They cooperated in hunting a stray bug, and proceeded to freak me out by pouncing on bottle caps, twist ties, and stray bits of fuzz, making me think that there were more bugs. (There weren't.) Random started to eat, and Nima nosed her way into his food, and Random didn't protest. He was lying next to her for a while. I think that he's trying to make friends with her. He even fell asleep a couple of times while she was out.
Harlee and Nima were lying on the same loveseat for a while, but mostly they ignored each other.
I put Nima back in her room because I was going to be gone a long time today, but I'm planning to leave her out all night tonight. If that goes well, I'll try leaving her out while I'm at work on Monday and check on them a couple of times during the day.
