Blooming orchids....

6 out of 9 of my orchids are growing flower spikes. I wonder what conditions trigger them to spike--amount of sunlight maybe? It'll be really cool when they all bloom; I don't think that I've ever had so many of them bloom at the same time. I hope at least a few of them are in bloom when my mom's here.
