Is it time to panic yet?

Mom left the Monday after she arrived. We drove down to Fresno that day, and (of course), I had the closest near miss on the drive to Fresno that I've ever had. We were in Pacheco Pass, and I was doing 65 M.P.H., when I came upon a Mayflower moving van in my lane going about 20 M.P.H. passing an even slower truck in the other lane. I slammed on the brakes, and wasn't sure if we could stop in time, but just barely did. (Let's hear it for the antilock brakes on the Honda.) I asked my mom to write down the license plate number on the moving van, but I got busy and never did call Mayflower.
When we took a break in Los Banos, I insisted that we have lunch so that I could sit and shake a little.
Mom liked the Fresno apartment. We also had fun watching a renegade peacock in Woodward Park. He was out in the parking lot. Apparently he was able to fly to the top of a gate and then fly/hop down. I didn't know that peacocks could fly.
So I've been busy at work (of course) and have been trying to get stuff done around here. As of now, I'm off of work through after the move. This gives me slightly over a week to get stuff done around here. Mom's coming in to help, and having her here will help keep me focused.
My biggest worry is giving away the large stuff that I have to give away: some exercise equipment, a dead laser printer, a HP-UNIX workstation....I suppose that I should log off and get cracking on it. (I'm going to post them on Craig's List.)
I'm picking up the key to the apartment in Fresno on 4/17. The movers come to pack on 4/18, and I move on 4/19. I'm boarding the cats, and will bring them down to Fresno on 4/20. On 4/21, I'm coming back to San Jose to go to a concert (Christopher Parkening--classical guitarist). On 4/22, I have an appointment with the cable person (late afternoon in Fresno). On 4/23, I completely collapse. On 4/24, I'm back at work in Fresno, waiting for my home equity loan to go through so that I can fix up the condo to sell.
