Earthquake?

I could have sworn I felt an earthquake around 5:30 PM. I had gone home sick, and was sleeping when the bed started to vibrate and I woke up with a start. It felt like an earthquake, but very, very faint. I logged onto the USGS site, and there was an earthquake in the Bay Area a couple of hours earlier, but not at the time that I felt it. (And the Bay Area earthquake wasn't strong enough to feel in Fresno anyway.)

Huh. Maybe someone inserted quarters into my bed while I was sleeping -;)

On the way to work this morning, we approached an intersection where we had the green light. However, an ambulance was stopped on the cross street with its sirens blaring. Cars with the green light kept on crossing despite the ambulance.

I stopped. Then the car next to me stopped. Then the car next to him stopped. Then the ambulance was clear to go.

Who says I'm not a leader? -;) Ha.
