I saw In Bruges today. The story is about two Irish hitmen who are sent to Bruges to cool their heels after a hit went bad. One of the guys enjoys sightseeing in Bruges; the other thinks that he's in hell.
But that isn't the whole movie. By the end of the movie, it takes a crack at sin, guilt, atonement, and redemption. The ending has more twists than a corkscrew.
It's one of the more unique movies that I've seen (though it sounds like damning with faint praise). I'm glad that I saw it.
