Chop wood file paper

days_unfoldingI've been filing a box full of papers. To me, it seems like one of the most tedious tasks imaginable. I find myself finding reasons to take a break.
For some reason, I was remembering when I was driving that really scary road up to Fort Bragg. In the middle of driving, I felt that I couldn't go any farther. Then I told myself that my choices were driving out or walking out, and driving was faster. So I managed to drive the rest of the way because I didn't have much choice.
I've been telling myself that I don't have a choice but to file paper, and it seems to be helping. I need to tell myself that I don't have a choice but to paint the condo when I'm ready.
And now I'll be quiet and go to sleep -;)
