OFFER: One Adrienne, slightly worn (out)
Aug. 1st, 2008 01:45 amI'm almost done cleaning out the garage. I just need to break down a box, move some boxes, and carry a couple of things upstairs. I'm calling it "done". Now I need to find out from the real estate agent when she and her son can help me move stuff downstairs.
I've been giving so much stuff away that I automatically typed "OFFER" when I started this entry, so I decided to go with it.
ETA: I've discovered how much stuff I bought and never used. That's one good thing about having limited funds; when I buy stuff now, I use it.
The condo looks like a tornado hit it. I have boxes all over the place. I think that I'll spend part of the weekend putting the place back in order.
The handyman came today to install a strap for my water heater and fix a slow drain. Well, both items turned into a saga. The area for the water heater was really tight. The drain required some replacement parts. (I'm still not entirely sure why.) The work wound up costing much more than I anticipated. However, it was still cheaper than calling a plumber.
Nima has decided that she's had enough of all the stuff moving around and strangers coming in. She has a spot under one of the end tables in which she likes to hide, and now she's sleeping there.
The real estate agent is coming over tomorrow with more stuff to sign. Fun. Not -;)
I'm tired.
