Oh crap

I received a letter from my vet stating instructions for boarding. It said that a bordetella vaccine is required for boarding. I took them to the vet TWO WEEKS ago for their shots, and mentioned that I was thinking about boarding them there, and it looks like they didn't get a bordetella shot. They require shots a week in advance, and I was planning on boarding them next Friday. It looks like I'll have to find somewhere else to board them. (I'll call the vet tomorrow though.) Boy, am I pissed.

There was an ad on Facebook that said "Over 40 and single?" I clicked the link, and it went a site called "Real Mature Singles". Hey! Who are you calling mature? Not I!

Absentee ballot

Does anyone know when absentee ballots are available in California for the November election? It looks like I'll just miss being able to register to vote in Michigan for the election because registration has to be 30 days before the election.

The vet said that the bordetella vaccine was just for dogs. (There is a bordetella vaccine for cats, but apparently they don't require it.) I wish that they would clarify that in their boarding letter. Oh well, all's well that ends well.
