Stuff and nonsense
Sep. 16th, 2008 04:30 pmI had the car undergo major maintenance today and also bought two new tires. It's ready for the long drive to Detroit.
The FHA is dragging its feet on approving the loan for the buyer of my condo, throwing the closing date in jeopardy. Cynthia sent a strongly-worded note saying that everyone agreed to the closing date upfront and that I had plans to move out-of-town based on that date. (Actually, she said that I was moving to the East Coast, which amused me. Well, I'm moving to the Eastern Time Zone at least.)
Packing is going well. I'm reluctant, though, to get rid of supplies such as food, batteries, and the like until I'm sure that escrow is going to close.
