Climb Every Mountain....
Apr. 29th, 2010 10:06 pmI'm studying for my (Library Science-Cataloging) final. So it's become really important to look up information about the high points of the 50 states. I also looked up my "trip report" for the one high point I've "summitted" in Ohio. Well, okay, it's a hill. The funny part is that I'm scared of heights. Hills are about my speed. However, I really enjoy reading about mountain climbing. I don't know if there's a part of me that wants to stop being afraid of heights, or it's just that I enjoy reading about people doing stuff that I'd never, ever do.
One thing that I could do is find places to hike around the Detroit area. I found a Michigan Web site about hiking, so I'll check it out.
I also wound up reading some old LJ entries. Then I was a lot more faithful in updating, and I enjoy having the record of what went on. I'm going to try to update more often so that I have the record of what's going on.
One of my classes is finished, and I should get the grade by Saturday. The final is posted for my other class, and I have until Tuesday night to take it.
