In with the old and in with the new
Jul. 15th, 2010 02:50 amBecause of the LJ news, I logged on to a couple of inactive journals that I have and posted a comment. I read a little of the journals, and found the thoughts in there to be of value. I understand why they're purging inactive journals, but old journals can be of value in understanding yourself and understanding how you got here. (One of the journals was a permanent account, so I would think that they'd leave it alone, but anyway, I made sure that they wouldn't delete it.) I want to go back and read more entries when I have the time.
I've been looking for self-improvement books and audiobooks, especially ones that would give me skills to find a job when I graduate. I've been able to pick up some Nightingale-Conant audiobooks on eBay cheaply. I'm now bidding on used portable CD and cassette players so that I can listen to the audiobooks while I'm at the gym. I also need to see what audiobooks I have in storage.
