Yikes

I've found proof that our society might be hopeless. The New York Times wrote about a guy who does not believe in air conditioning. The guy wrote an article for the Washington Post questioning the need for air conditioning. And he received death threats in response. What ever happened to agreeing to disagree with someone?? (I sound like an old fart, don't I?)
