"Dog's Got Rhythm"

Aargh

Well, hell. I ordered a mattress last Sunday to be delivered today. The guys got here on time, found my place--and discovered that they had the wrong mattress for me. After a flurry of conversations among the delivery guys, the store, the warehouse, and other delivery guys, they decided that they couldn't get the correct mattress to me today. They left the wrong mattress here for me to sleep on, although I left the plastic on it because they'll be taking it back. The store set up delivery for me next Saturday, as early in the afternoon as possible because I'm going to a party on Saturday night. The store also said that I could keep this mattress if I liked it. I finally was able to get my fitted sheets on over the plastic (it kept on slipping off) and was able to close the futon in the living room, so I have my living room back. I think that I'll take the mattress for a test drive, although I have a bunch of stuff to do.
