The Joys of Fire Season in California
Aug. 28th, 2013 11:23 amJust read about the Yosemite fire. (I haven't been keeping up with the news.) It might impact Hetch Hetchy? Holy shit. I was thinking that the air quality would be worse than normal in Fresno, but the smoke seems to be blowing towards Reno instead.
It's strange when stuff like this happens, and I'm not in California. But I don't miss fire season. (The other day, someone was burning debris on a farm on the way back from work, and I reacted, big-time. I wasn't sure if I should call 911, but it seemed to be contained.)
