Gone With the Mandolin

I have a mandolin that I've never learned to play. I'm planning to bring it to Michigan with me, and I bought some books and DVDs about playing it. (I suppose that it would have been smarter to have had the books sent to Michigan, but I didn't think of it. I suppose that I could mail them there.) If I can find my recorders, I'll bring them too. (I guess that this is my folk music period.) Unfortunately I didn't keep up with my guitar playing (and I'm kicking myself for not doing so), so I'll need some assistance in learning how to play again. Maybe I could take a group class whenever I get to whereever I'm going for my next job. Anyway, that will provide some cheap entertainment.

Oh, and I'm planning to work on foreign languages while I'm in Michigan too.

Presentation?

I had planned to submit a proposal to present at the Library 2.013 virtual conference in October, but I haven't done the research that I planned to do this summer. Then I thought about the presentation that I just developed to present to my colleagues at work. I could do that. Efficiency!
