Oct. 7th, 2013 12:15 amThe Copenhagen show was especially interesting because my dad had a business trip to Copenhagen when I was in high school. My mom went with him, but my high school decided that I had already taken too much time off because of other trips (my dad worked for United Airlines), and therefore I couldn't go. I was doubly pissed because I had never been to Europe at that point. Travel is educational, isn't it? Couldn't I have written an essay about the trip? So, bah. It was the trip that "got away".
Next week is Sicily, which should be interesting because I love Italian food. We have two others "on demand," one on Israel, which should be interesting, and one that I can't remember.
Otherwise, I'm trying to catch up on late homework, but I won't finish everything tonight. Lack of Internet access is turning out to be a pain; I'm using my cell phone as a hotspot, but I think that there's a limit to the amount of throughput that it can provide. Harlee has permanently taken over my mom's room; thank goodness that my mom is good-natured about it. Zara is confined to my room by a gate (she gets into stuff and destroys it), but she's gotten out once already. I chased her all over the house and ultimately back into my room. Out of guilt, I bought her a nice, soft velour throw for my bed for her to lie on and a new feather toy.
