Here comes yet another winter storm. It's supposed to rain at first, which will turn to ice, and then snow 5 to 8 inches on top of that. There's supposed to be heavier snow from Bloomington northward. It's still supposed to be snowing during the commute. The wind could be up to 40 miles an hour. There was a graphic that was being shared around on Facebook that roughly said, "Winter is the way that Mother Nature says, 'Screw you'." 'Bout right. It's especially ironic given that it hit 59 degrees F earlier today. Sigh.

Operating on the assumption that I might get snowed in here in Bloomington, I brought home my work laptop and half the stuff from my cubicle. I made a list of things that I could do from home. Even if work does get canceled, I'm registered for a webinar tomorrow that I should attend. Of course, given that I brought so much stuff home, the weather won't be as bad as predicted -;)

My little berry bushes are pushing all my "mom" buttons. Despite being tired and hungry, I went to Lowe's and bought them small, temporary pots. I don't want to put them in the big pots until the weather gets better because I'll need to bring them indoors when the weather gets bad. I have a tough time believing that a little twig could grow to a size that requires a 20-inch pot. This should be an adventure.

I almost hit a cat when I was driving close to home. Dear owners of the cat, please don't let your cat out. It would break my heart to kill a cat, and presumably it would break your heart too. Dear cat, please don't dart in front of cars.

Tired, tired, tired. Harlee's complaining because I was out late. Food, kitty maintenance, and sleep.
