I lost my Fitbit on Sunday. I had it clipped to my bra, but sometime between 4:15 PM (when I last synced it) and around 9 or 10 (when I went to sync it before I went to sleep), it fell off somewhere. First, I was convinced that it had gotten tangled up in my sheets and was washed, but I didn't find it in the washer and dryer. Then I thought that it might have fallen into a bag of garbage that I had been gathering, which luckily I still had, but I just went through it (yuck!), and it wasn't there. The thing is that I didn't go anywhere, so it has to be here somewhere, but I'm stumped as to where. I should have gotten a Fitbit Flex. I will keep looking for it.
I was at WalMart tonight and fell in love with this TV. The picture is phenomenal for the price point. But the Lincoln WalMart doesn't have it, and the WalMart Web site says that the Normal WalMart doesn't have it, so...crap. (I had originally thought to get the smallest TV that I could find, but I need something that has two HDMI ports for the Roku box and an antenna. That means that I have to get a slightly larger TV.) Amazon.com says that only used ones are available. I wonder if they're discontinuing it. I could get a used one, which would drop the price even more. Now I'm looking at 29-inch refurbished Vizios on eBay. (I could just hear a former colleague of mine saying, "Oh, a little retail therapy?")
Speaking of therapy, I'm going to call the clinic in Lincoln tomorrow because I'm working in Normal in the morning and can stop at home for lunch. It occurred to me, though, that it takes at least three months to get an appointment with my doctor, and I can't possibly wait that long. Maybe the therapist will have some ideas how to proceed.
I'm still megatired even though I overslept an hour-and-a-half this morning. I have homework to do, but I think that I'm going to sleep again. I need to get up early anyway to dry my laundry, so I hope that I can work on it then.
Added: Oh, the reason that I haven't been getting the Sunday paper is that "the transaction never went through". I'm e-mailing back and forth with them because I want the same discount that was available when I called to subscribe. Why is everything complicated?
Added later: I found the Fitbit!!!!! It was on the floor of the basement and it's fine. And I won a Roku 2 box on eBay for 60 percent of the price on Amazon.com (including shipping). Score!
