Mar. 28th, 2014 06:56 pmI've been slowly recovering from my cold, although it still isn't completely gone, and I feel exhausted. The Library Director (who apparently was told that his title is "Librarian" and not "Library Director," which seems really chintzy, but I'm calling him that anyway) went home sick today with an upset stomach, so clearly working in the library is hazardous to our health. (I had the upset stomach thing a couple of weeks ago.) Sigh.
I do want to catch up on my sleep this weekend. However, I also have a ton of homework to catch up on. My plan for my final database project--I'm creating a database to keep track of the vegetables that I'm going to plant on the deck--was approved tonight, so that's good. I'm also trying to finish a report for work, although I told them that I'll have limited time to work on it this weekend.
I also want to set up the new TV and Roku box. I want to "rent" Almost Famous from Amazon Instant Video because I've wanted to see it for years, and it should be fun. I'll do some mending and clip coupons during the movie.
I think that Zara's cat tree is in the big, heavy box that arrived today, so I should assemble that as well. She was lolling around on "her" boxes when I came home, and I'm already feeling guilty about taking them away from her. (Yes, I know. I'm easy -;))
They're predicting snow tomorrow morning (sigh again), so I'm going to stay in tomorrow. I hope that the berry plants like the basement because I haven't been able to put them out on the deck lately.
