Far Freaking Out 2
Mar. 30th, 2014 12:44 amI set up the TV, but it won't pick up the cable channels. Might be just as well, given that I'm canceling cable. The TV's cheap plastic stand wouldn't work, so I need to get a stand for it. I propped it up against the wall for now. I haven't set up the antenna yet.
However, I did set up the Roku box. It was easy to set up, and I loaded a ton of channels on it. Then I watched Almost Famous. It was terrific; it was a blast; everyone in it was really good; it has a terrific soundtrack. I highly recommend it.
I am so stoked that I can watch almost any movie that I want to watch on demand. (Well, in some cases, like this one, I have to pay for it, but it cost $4, which is much cheaper than going out to a movie.) Between this and the Kindle Fire, today was easily the most fun that I've had in a long time.
I want to read a few reviews of Almost Famous, but then I need to crash because I'm wiped out.
