I Guess You Can't Make an Omelet without Breaking Eggs

The Good News: I had an appointment with a doctor yesterday--not a psychiatrist, a GP--and convinced her that I couldn't wait to see the psychiatrist before getting new meds. She gave me a prescription for Effexor, which I've taken before.

The Bad News: It's making me nauseous (I forgot about that aspect of it) and really tired. Not sure how this is supposed to help my productivity. I do feel calmer, if a bit like a Stepford wife. I feel completely dispassionate, which is awfully similar to the apathy that I've been feeling.

We shall see how this goes....Right now, I need to lie down and settle my stomach. Sigh.
