Let There Be Light Revisited
May. 4th, 2014 03:16 pmI decided to stay home today. Both Zara and I have enough meds to last us until tomorrow, and I'm tired and feel like taking a nap -;) And I have homework to do.
I did forget one very important thing on my camping list: a headlamp. I want one for hiking in case I miscalculate how long it will take me to get back to the trailhead and I wind up in the dark. So I found one on eBay for $10 off, free shipping. It would also be useful for planting stuff outside in the evening. The "hiker's gear guide" that I have recommends getting two headlamps--one to wear on your head to light up what's ahead of you and one on your belt to light up the trail--but I'm going to play around with just one right now. I got a waterproof one in case I need to slog through a thunderstorm.
