Life In the Slow Lane Revisited
Jul. 5th, 2014 10:42 pmI had told my mom how charming downtown Bloomington was, and she wanted to see it. This morning, I told her that the forecast was for rain the next two days, so if we wanted to go downtown, maybe we should go today. So we did, and walked slowly (because my mom is having a tough time walking) through downtown. My mom really liked it also. We had dinner at a place called Reality Bites. It had somewhat strange-sounding dishes, but oh, was the food good!
Then we came home and watched Princess Bride. (We were at the store until late last night, and then we came home, and I made dinner--lobster mac and cheese and garlic bread, yum! It was too late to watch the movie.) My mom really enjoyed the movie and thought that it was very funny. The movie did freeze and stop near the end, but we discovered that there was a way to pick up where it left off on Amazon Video. Good to know in case I want to watch a movie with breaks in-between sections. My mom is going to sleep, and I'm going to do the same thing very soon.
