What Would Grant Cardone Do?
Sep. 20th, 2014 12:10 pmI've been listening to an audiobook called Sell Or Be Sold by Grant Cardone. As well as discussing selling, it contains a lot of tips about success in any field, not just selling. However, yesterday, I wasn't feeling well, but sucked it up and went to work and a doctor's appointment. I was pale and dizzy all day, and felt like hell by the time that I went home. So I asked myself what this sales guy would do in this situation, and told myself to get to sleep right now and get well. I'm feeling better this morning, although I'm very dehydrated and still a little shaky. But I'm not planning to go anywhere today, so I can lie down if I need to. My doctor also lowered the dose of the antidepressant that's contributing to my feeling shaky, but I haven't picked up the new tablets yet.
Grant Cardone said that if you're feeling "call reluctance" in sales, that's a sign that you don't know enough and haven't trained enough. So one of the things that I'm focusing on today is training myself. One of the top Younique presenters mentioned that she had a training series for her downline, which she graciously offered to everyone that follows her, so I'm going to check that out. Grant Cardone has a Web site with sales resources, so I'm going to check that out as well. I also will practice talking about Younique. I also have some books that I am reading.
I also am working on Instagram. I'm starting to comment directly to beauty blogger's pictures, asking them if they know about Younique. We'll see how that goes. I'm also going to check out software that automates your posts to Instagram; that would be a big help, given that I have a "day job".
Grant Cardone also talked about the importance of organization. I really need to get better organized so that I can get out the door faster, and have time to visit salons before I go to work. So I'm also going to work on getting better organized, starting with my makeup stuff in the bathroom.
So okay, I have my marching orders....
