A Circuitous Path, Part 1

A women's college, Sweet Briar College, is closing for financial reasons, and there is much discussion on The Chronicle of Higher Education and Inside Higher Ed of what that means for other small colleges like the one that I work for. The Washington Post created an interactive infographic about the financial health of each small college (or small university) in the country. I'm glad to say that my college isn't in the "most likely to fail" category, but it isn't that far off. I have no indication that the college will close, but I suppose I should make a contingency plan for if that ever happens. I really need to spend more time on building my Younique business ("dig your well before you're thirsty"). I also latch onto experiences that help improve my resume/CV, and I need to keep working on improving my credentials.
