Lost in Quiet
Nov. 13th, 2015 11:44 pmI had my meeting in Champaign-Urbana today. It went okay, although the speakers seemed to be stating the obvious a lot. I also had problems falling asleep last night, and only got two hours of sleep, so I was VERY tired. I came home to find that Zara 1) had unplugged the router, and 2) tipped over her litter box. I offered her to my Facebook list -;)
But of course, the events in Paris put things into perspective rather quickly (not that I was really mad at Miss Z, just cranky). It knocked the wind out of my sails, but I'm wondering why. I don't know anyone in Paris. I spent the day there once many years ago. I'm really not sure what to do with myself. I have an elderly cat who is complaining loudly, so I should sit with her. I can impact her life in a profound manner, at least.
