Thursday Night Fights

Zara is fed up with Mimi. Mimi growls whenever Zara goes near her, and has cornered Zara a few times . (That's when I step in.) Zara started smacking her, which (in my mind) Mimi deserved, but the fight escalated, and I broke it up. I tricked Mimi into going into the bedroom and shut the gate. I'm going to let her out, though, because she and Zara need to learn to get along. I feel sorry for Zara though. I told Mimi that everyone in this household is trying to accommodate her (which is true), but she needs to be nice. We'll see how this goes....

...And Friday Night Fights

The fights between Mimi and Zara keep escalating. One of them, probably Zara, screamed at the top of her lungs at little while ago. She ran and hid, so I'm not sure if she is okay, but she was able to run and hide. I need a drink...and I think that I'll separate them tonight because they got into a fight at 5:30 this morning. I vaguely remember rolling over, yelling "HEY!", and going back to sleep.

My boss and I had an offsite meeting, which was mainly about various tools other librarians found useful. I created this video. I'm not saying that it's great, but it gives an idea on what the tool can do. (BTW, the button on the last screen doesn't work. I'd have to connect it to our Web site, but I ran out of time.) I'm going to create a second account for Younique videos. Oh, and my car is fixed.

I just e-mailed a person about this electric guitar on Craigslist. Assuming that it doesn't have a case, I'll have to take special care of it until I could afford the case. But I'm more likely to practice at night (on headphones) than in the morning. I suppose that I could run the acoustic over to the library and practice there, but I think that I'd freak out Security.

I'm going to a classical guitar concert in Springfield tomorrow night. it should be enjoyable...and soothing. Maybe I should bring Mimi and Zara -;)

Music Practice

I've been both video recording (I almost said, "videotaping") my practice sessions and writing a short journal entry about how it went and what I need to fix. It's the best that I can do without an instructor. My chord sounded good most of the time, but boy, did I look stressed :)
