Vacation!!
Jul. 1st, 2016 11:59 pmI'm now officially on vacation for a week. I wound up staying an extra hour at work (they gave us a half-day off for the holiday weekend), but I'm glad that I did because I did a fairly organized shutdown of what I was working on and made some notes, so that I'll have a clue as to what I was working on when I get back.
I ate dinner out, and then went shopping. I'm now the proud owner of a tiny, portable grill (although, thinking about it, it's an expensive way to cook). And I also bought camp chairs for when my mom and I go to the balloon festival in August. (It pays to shop around. I got them at Kroger for $10 less than WalMart.) And I stocked up on food. Let the weekend commence!
I think that I want to lie in bed and read now. But Her Royal Highness the Princess Harlee has been calling me, so I must obey. Zara has been nipping me too when I don't pay enough attention to her. I exist to serve :)
