Pet Sitter
Dec. 21st, 2016 06:45 pmI met with the pet sitter, and everything's fine.
There might be light rain showers when I leave on Friday, but that's okay. Tomorrow the weather would be better, but I really could use the extra day to get my act together and get lots of sleep before the drive.
Got my errands run. As far as I know, all I'll need to do outside the house tomorrow is drop Zara at the vet and get gas. If I've forgotten something, I can run the errand tomorrow.
Now, I'm eating something, then I need to get cleaning/organizing/packing. I want to get a (reasonably) early start on Friday.
Oh, I almost forgot: earlier, I was in my bedroom talking to Zara while she ate. (Zara likes it when I watch her eat.) The gate was closed to keep Mimi from eating Zara's food. I heard a banging noise, but I thought that Mimi was trying to bat at Harlee through the gate to Harlee's room. Then I saw Harlee appear by the gate to the bedroom. I did a doubletake, but she was still there. She's really thin, so I'm not entirely surprised that she could get out. She's back in her room now. I'm not going to worry too much because I highly doubt Harlee would go outside. I don't particularly want Mimi and Harlee to interact, however.
