Ch-Ch-Changes

The goodbye lunch for my boss's boss was packed with people. I didn't expect it to be so crowded. However, I did get a chance to say goodbye to her in person and got her personal e-mail address. (She also said that I was great to work with, which is always good to hear.) So that's good.

I have a new tooth, and it looks good. The dentist does good work, and the people there are nice.

I received my new planner and really like it. I also received the navy and brown blazers. The navy blazer is great. The brown one seems a little small, although I need to try it with thinner clothes on.

Took Harlee to the vet. The vet prescribed Metronidazole for her diarrhea and also suggested that I mix squash baby food in with her food. I showed her the holistic treatment that I found online, but the vet didn't like it because it had clay in it, which will absorb water, and Harlee needs all the water that she can get because of her kidney problems.

Dropped a big bag of clothes at the thrift store. Got gas, and cleaned my back car window, which was full of mud.

Now I'm going to take a short nap--and I WILL wake up on time. Then I'm going to drive to Springfield to get Harlee some pill pockets and food, and food for Zara and Mimi. I'll check Meijer's for a black sweater as long as I'm there.

A Mom's Work Is Never Done

So much for "I will wake up on time". I woke up 1.5 hours later then I intended. So I scratched the trip to Springfield. I'll go tomorrow. However, I did reluctantly go out in the frozen tundra (2 degrees F) to get some squash baby food for Harlee. I'm not sure how much to give her. I have some Pill Pockets left over that I can use tonight, although I haven't checked to see if they're still good. Harlee has bounced back from her ordeal enough to complain at me :)

I forgot to mention that the vet really likes Harlee. She even put a baby blanket in the carrier for Harlee for the trip back home. (Zara, on the other hand, has quite a (deserved) reputation there. She freaks out at the vet.)

Now I'm thawing. Then I'll do a few things around here until it's "quiet time". Then I'll do some work in my planning book.
