Well-Rested

I woke up around 9 AM, and was up a little while. Then I decided to go back to sleep for "a little while". Woke up at 1 PM. Oh well. The girls were good and didn't wake me up even though they were hungry. (Actually, I wouldn't have minded if they woke me up a little earlier.) Mimi was stressy though until I fed her.

Harlee is still glomming the Pill Pocket. Good. And she likes the wet food-squash concoction, even though it looks gross to me, but apparently not to her. I think that her stools are a little firmer, but she still has some diarrhea.

I'm actually glad that I didn't go to Springfield last night because I needed to download my audio books to the new phone. They're all starting from the beginning, but that's okay. It'll save me money. I wonder if there's a way to get cheap Bluetooth headphones for cleaning. I discovered a new site for used things, Mercari, but Amazon has cheaper Bluetooth headphones.

I'm waiting for my laundry to finish, and then I will jump in the shower. The person who wants my HDTV antenna is still interested, so I'm going to drop it off. Then I'll head to Springfield. I had thought about going into work tonight because the weather will be better than tomorrow, but it looks like that won't happen.

I got myself together, and sent a message to the person who wanted my HDTV antenna. She didn't respond right away, so I ate some lunch. She still didn't respond, so I sent her a message that I was going to go to Springfield and would contact her tomorrow. I was getting in the car when she responded, so I ran in and got the antenna, and told her that I was on my way. She paid with a check because she hasn't gotten out because it's been cold, but I trust her.

Then I hit the road to Springfield. I grabbed a few household things at Walmart. Then I went to Target, looking for a black sweater. Didn't find one, but I found a blue-gray blazer with amber dots on clearance. Tried it on, and it fit perfectly. I also found a purse on clearance. I had bought one at Walmart when my mom was here, but I liked this one better, so I need to return the other one.

Found a cheap Bluetooth headset at Best Buy. I want to start listening to audiobooks on a regular basis. I can also use it for phone calls.

Stopped at Ross, but they didn't have a black sweater that I liked.

Stopped at Petsmart, but they didn't have Pill Pockets. Went to Petco, and they did have them, so I bought a bunch of them, plus dry cat food, and some grain-free wet food for Harlee to try. I also wanted to see if she'll eat the limited-ingredient wet food that I used to feed her, but they didn't have it. So I went back to Petsmart, and they did have it, so I bought a few cans to try. (I'll get a flat at Amazon of whatever winds up working for her.)

Stopped at Meijer, and found a black velour shirt on clearance that looked great. It is short-sleeved, but I want to wear it with a blazer, so it should be okay.

Jammed home, and rolled up at 9 PM, the time for my phone call with Mom. I called her and asked if I could call her back because I was starving. Downed some food, and called her back.

When Mom drove back from my place on Tuesday, Mom stopped at a friend's house in Western Michigan to break up the trip. She had planned to stay through Thursday, but they were predicting snow, so she left on Wednesday and made it home. She's been mostly resting since then. She has been watching the elephant video that I gave her for Christmas, and loves it.

We were both yawning on the phone. I might just feed the cats and go to bed. Harlee has made another wet food bowl disappear again. I don't know what she does with them! Speaking of Harlee, she doesn't seem to have had an accident while I was gone. Way to go!
