T-Day Plus One
Aug. 1st, 2018 11:35 pmI collapsed and slept well. However, I had a problem when I got up because I couldn't figure out how to turn on the water for the shower, and I was afraid to get too aggressive with it because I was afraid that the knob would come off in my hand. Mom showed me how to turn the thing on.
We ran errands during the afternoon. My cell phone charger had a loose connection (which was a source of stress during the trip over here because I needed to call Mom), so I picked up one from Meijer. It was the wrong size. Then we went to AT&T and got the right one. I'm back in business.
I took a nap while Mom was at her therapy appointment. Spontaneously woke up without the alarm, so I must be catching up on my sleep.
We watched the first part of a video called City in the Sky, which is about the work behind the scenes to enable plane flights. It was a little unnerving to learn that the parts of an airplane are hand riveted together.
We went to a restaurant and I had a Belgian waffle for dinner (yum). Then I paid bills on my mom's computer. And I guess that now it's time to go to sleep.
