T-Day Plus Two
Aug. 2nd, 2018 11:22 pmMom and I went to her favorite "upscale" resale shop. She found a skirt. I found three textured long sleeve tops and a Chico's zippered jacket. Score!
Then we went to see Won't You Be My Neighbor?, the documentary about Mr. Rodgers. It was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone who watched the show.
Then I picked up a prescription from Walgreens.
We came back home to watch part two of City in the Sky. Then we were going to go get pizza, but decided abruptly to go to Panera. We were talking about the Mr. Rodgers movie, and it evolved into a discussion about politics and whether we could get people with different beliefs to under stand each other. (My mom's the optimist, and I'm the pessimist.)
I need to go to sleep earlish because my mom has her chemo shot at 11 AM. Then we're going out to lunch and to Chico's (uh oh).
Mom and I are talking about taking the train to Vermont, although not any time soon. We would spend a couple of days in New York when we changed trains. Another trip to research!
