T-Day Plus...Oh, I Don't Know

Mom had her chemo shot this morning. The waiting around took longer than the shot. Then we went to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. I had some delicious mushroom pasta and a decadent caramel pudding for dessert. We looked at Chico's and Macy's sale racks, but didn't find anything.

 

We took naps when we got home. We then ran out for some soda for me. We ate leftovers for dinner. Then we watched the last installment of City in the Sky.   

The Last Day

I found a gray and black Chico's top and jacket in a paisley pattern. Mom decided that I should get it, and she'd pay for it and call it an early birthday present. So I bought it.

 

Did laundry. Sat with Mom and talked a lot. Got the shakes, so Mom fed me two Toaster Pastries and a Snickers ice cream bar. (You can see where I get my fabulous nutrition.) It worked though.

 

Right now, Mom went to Mass, so I'm on her computer. I set up my "cheap50schic" Instagram account.

We had delicious pizza for dinner, and a raspberry-almond pie for dessert. We looked at some maps in an atlas so that I could show her how far the Redding fire is from my dad's home.    

 

I had a little Moscato with her in the back yard because I told people at work that I was going to have a glass of wine in the back yard.

 

Now I think that I'm going to bed early because I need to get up early (though not as early as for the outbound train, thank goodness!)
