Lounge Day

Zara has changed her spot to my bedroom. A blanket of mine fell off of the bed, and she's claimed it. I tried to get her to join me on the bed last night, but she stayed where she was.

I woke up briefly around 10 AM but went back to sleep and woke up around noon. I was dreaming that I was going to go swimming outside in 30 degree F weather. WTF?

I'm lying down to take a nap, and Zara came to join me! Yay! Love sleeping with Z next to me.

I bought some new ankle boots on eBay because my old ones are falling apart. (I usually wear the same pair of black shoes or boots all the time. I'm not a shoe person, probably because it's hard to find shoes in my size, 6.5 wide). They work. And as an added bonus, they're waterproof. I'm going to wear them around the house to break them in.

I think that I'm going to stay home today and lounge in my sweats. Trying to decide what to do next. I think that I'll pull out the DVD player in the bedroom and hook it up to the TV and see if it works. My mom has the complete set of Harry Potter movies, which I'd like to watch, and she said that she'd lend them to me. I talk to her later tonight. It's the TV that's the issue. Whoever set up cable plugged the TV into the A/V sockets because that's color. I can replug the A/V cables into the DVD player.

I'm eyeing some hiking boots at half-off on eBay.

Talked to Mom. She still sounds awful. She went for chemo on Friday, and they told her to just go home and rest because she had a fever (and go to Urgent Care if her fever spikes). They're trying to get her in to see her oncologist next week.
