Odds and Ends

I did pry myself out of bed early. Zara jumped on one of the plastic totes that had stuff on it and knocked it over. Way to go, Z.

Ran to the garage sale place, and it was closed, so I guess that they sold off their stuff. Oh well. I saw another garage sale, but it was mostly clothes, and I'm not looking for a lot of clothes. Plus there wasn't a good place to park.

I had time to kill before Italian, so I paid some bills.

We were doing lots of conversation in Italian, which is good but also hard.

Singing went well. The teacher thinks that I should sing lower than I was and that it would be richer. I think that I'll keep up with the singing classes even though I'm starting up private voice lessons again.

Ace Hardware didn't have any plants that I wanted, though I was eying spaghetti squash. I returned some library books. Went to the thrift store and bought a pair of shorts. Got my swim bag out of storage and also a box of books and a couple of drawers to go through. I want to get them done tonight, so I'll be busy. But first, a nap. Oh, and I retrieved my drill, so I could have gotten the planters without drainage holes. Oh well.

Uh-oh. Zara likes lying on my swim bag. It's vinyl, so it must be cool.

Napped for four hours! So much for weeding. Oops, I need to get the garbage as soon as the girls finish eating. So much for emptying the drawers. Okay, the garbage is out. Put away my garage sale finds.

Practiced piano. I went online to print off guitar music, and I'm going to practice guitar before I go to sleep.
