I Made It to My Mom's House

Ugh. I overslept. Now I've packed my suitcase. I didn't get a chance to refill my shower bottles, so I'm just grabbing the full-size bottles. The pet sitter came by to get extra money from me because she spent too much. Sigh.

Most of the stuff is in the car now. I just need to make my lunch and put the cat food on the table. And I got makeup on my eye, so I'm letting it tear and then will put makeup on.

Left around 1:30 PM. It was an okay drive. Now I'm at my mom's house. She got up and we scared each other :) Bedtime!

First Day at Mom's House

As Mom said, she's sleeping a lot. That's okay; I brought stuff to do. It's snowing now. I'm glad that I came yesterday. I napped after breakfast and then had lunch. Then Mom got up. I made her oatmeal, and we discussed a grocery list. I had originally planned to work on organizing my Italian handouts, but Mom seemed anxious about my going to the store, so I threw myself together and went.

The grocery store was packed with people. It took me quite a while to get everything (compounded by the fact that I don't know the store's layout). Then I went to CVS to get some body cream for Mom. On my way out, I backed into someone. There wasn't a lot of damage, but I gave her my insurance information. I went to the gas station, but the pump wasn't accepting any of my cards. Mailed some bills for Mom, and then went home.

We had a Margherita pizza for dinner. It was good, and it got Mom to eat, which was even better. Mom is wondering if she's been starving herself because she hasn't felt like eating.

Then I worked on organizing my Italian, but I've hit a wall of exhaustion. I'm going to go to sleep early.
