Lost Day

The weather forecasters are predicting a winter storm on New Year's Day, but they've lowered the amount of snow expected. Well, I've got my snow shovel.

The pet sitter came by for the money for the extra day, and I fed the cats. Now I have the rest of the day to myself! I do have library books to pick up, but I might wait until tomorrow. Mimi seems a lot calmer and happier.

I intended to nap for three hours, but woke up after two. Oh well. Had lunch. Decided to throw myself together and get my library books today so that I don't have to go out on New Year's Eve. Talked to Mom. Her hemoglobin is low, so she's going to have a transfusion tomorrow. Her doctor is trying to build up her health and then start the chemo.
