No COVID Test
Mar. 19th, 2023 09:27 pmWell, this is a fine kettle of fish. My insurance company refused to pay for my COVID test, and I need to call them on Monday. Mom is not going to be happy that I can't see her, but I'm not feeling very well. I would really appreciate if the universe would stop screwing around with me.
Took a nap. Discovered that the reason that my insurance company wouldn't pay for the COVID test is that a doctor needs to prescribe it. I made a telehealth appointment with a local Urgent Care, and I've been waiting an hour and a half (and counting). I was trying to meet with some of my classmates, but I'm hung up. It turned out that they called me after I had been waiting an hour and said that they can't do a COVID screening over telehealth. So now I have an appointment at noon.
I'm going to go to bed early and get some good sleep. Then (I hope) that I'll get up early and do some studying. My test in my math class is a week from Tuesday, not this Tuesday, which helps.
