And Still a Little More Progress

There is a moth in my bedroom, and Mimi is going nuts. I hope that she'll let me sleep. She did.

Mimi wants me to take my after-breakfast nap so she can snuggle. It's a cat's world. I only live in it.

The curse on my naps continues. I was asleep when someone was knocking on the door. It turned out to be a chatty mailman who wanted to verify who was living here. He said that I could put mail for previous residents in the mailbox sticking out. Good to know. Then my mom's friend Gordon called. I told him to tell Mom that I was going to drive up tomorrow. He told me that I will get through this, which is nice. I like Gordon. Actually I have a bit of a crush on him (it sounds like I have crushes on lots of people, but I really don't). We had a great conversation at my grandmother's funeral.

I just remembered to have my mail forwarded to Mom's house.

I dozed a little while longer and then gave up and got up. Then the hospice social worker called. She wanted to introduce herself and get some basic information.

Okay. I found a carry-on bag on Amazon that will go perfectly with my luggage. I'll get it the next time that I get paid. It's also by TravelPro.

I didn't find a small carry-on bag, so I guess that I'll pack my summer clothes in a plastic bag. Though hmm, Walmart might have something, but I'd hate to spend money on something that I'll use only once.

I have a crashing headache, but need to get moving.

Now I'm in Lincoln, eating dinner. I found a collapsible duffle bag at Walmart which would also be good to take on trips where I might buy stuff.

Oh ack, I'm in the old place and I don't know if I'm going to finish tonight. I guess that I better get started.

The good news: I got half of the place done.

I threw some towels that I was using as rags in the washer overnight. Zara is stalking my apple turnovers.
