Travel Day

Woke up at 7:30 AM I think. Fed us all breakfast and took a short nap. Got up, showered, and started packing (done). I just need to slap on some makeup and go to the bank and AutoZone (done). Loaded the car and left.

I was driving along, feeling relaxed, when I realized that I hadn’t gotten gas and I was almost down to 1/4 of a tank. Oops. I stopped at the first gas station and also got a Subway sandwich.

I’m stopped for dinner at a Waffle House in Indiana.

I got stopped by a policeman, and apparently, the bulb by my license plate is burnt out. Something to get fixed tomorrow.

I made it to Urbana. The paint colors in the new house are magical. I'm going to be very happy in this place. I'll see if I can take pictures tomorrow.

The only spot for a standing desk upstairs doesn't have an outlet. I didn't realize that the ceiling was so low. The only way that I could have a big aquarium is if I put it on the floor.

I'm going to have a slice of cake, inflate the air mattress, take a shower, and crash.

Move Day 1

I had problems falling asleep last night, which is common after a long drive. Morning came too early. But thank you, dadi, for the suggestion of the electric blanket. It kept me warm.

Got to the office of the storage space and waited. Then they called me, and they remembered where my storage space was and were waiting there. We connected.

I didn't get any studying done. I was busy telling them what stuff should go and what should stay. We crammed in boxes, but I'm wondering how I'll get the stuff from Mom's house in. I think that some stuff needs to go into the basement.

They're done and gone. I want to eat lunch and then take a nap. Couldn't sleep. Started studying.

Attended my TA's Office Hours and we discussed sample problems for the test tomorrow.

I think that I'll post to take a break from studying. And go to bed early and get up early and study some more.
