days_unfoldingI just read that American Airlines canceled 1000 flights to inspect MD-80 airplanes. My mom was scheduled to take an American Airlines MD-80 flight from Detroit to Chicago this afternoon. Then she was booked on a British Airways flight to London.
Maybe I'll try calling her. If she made it onto the British Airways flight, presumably her cell phone is off.
Edit: I called her, and her cell phone went straight to voicemail. That's a good sign.
