I've cleaned every nook and cranny in my condo, including washing windows, hosing down the patio, cleaning the outside of my washer and dryer, cleaning the inside of the refrigerator, cleaning the outside as well as the inside of the litter boxes, .... I'm meeting with the real estate agent on Friday evening.
The unemployment agency sent me a letter stating that I'm eligible for extended benefits. (Interesting timing. Things could get difficult if I find a job while I'm selling my condo, but on the other hand, the job market seems underwhelmed by me.)
I canceled my newspaper last fall, but they kept on delivering it to me until last week. I lasted three days of not getting the paper until I caved in and resubscribed. Must have my newspaper fix! An editorial in the newspaper said that the "newspaper fix" is no joke; opioid (pleasure) neurotransmitters fire when we get new information. Here's the article: The CrackBerry yields clues to our data-driven desires.
Speaking of new information, I checked out a book by neurologist Oliver Sacks about music and the brain (Musicophilia: Tales of Music and the Brain). It sounds like it'll be interesting.
I might see a movie tomorrow to celebrate getting my condo ready to sell.
