Afternoon at the opera

My mom is a season ticket holder at the Detroit opera. One of the operas was canceled, so my mom asked for a free ticket for me for Madame Butterfly. We went to see it today. It was good, but I thought that each scene dragged out too long. There isn't much action in this opera (just a lot of emoting). I prefer Carmen and La Bohème, both of which have a lot of action. Anyway, I'm glad I saw the opera. It was good to get out.

Yeah, I prefer La Boheme and the like, though I've not seen many operas live. But I'm glad you got out and I'm sure it was fun on some levels. :)
