Furniture shopping

I dumped most of my furniture when I moved to the Detroit area from San Jose. Lately, I've been looking to find the cheapest and most portable temporary furniture I can find for when I have my own place again. (I'm putting the cart before the horse; I need a full-time job before I can get my own place!) I've found an inflatable bed and loveseat (no really, nothing's cheaper or more portable!), a dresser with canvas drawers, and folding bookcases that actually seem practical. I also found a folding dining table and chairs that are not so cheap, but I really like them. My mom told me where I can get cheap director's chairs. I now have a pinterest account, and I'm "pinning" my finds on there. I could furnish my place within minutes -;) It's kind of fun.
Oh, and Harlee likes to lie on a down cushion on one of my mom's chairs, so I promised that I'd make her a down cat bed when I have my own place. Of course, I need to learn to sew first -;) I do have a sewing machine though.
