What a day

days_unfoldingThe good news is that most of my stuff has been moved into my storage area, but it was a bit of a saga.
My mom and I stayed up until the wee hours of the night, but I still didn't get the office completely packed. (Luckily, I designed it to be easy to move.)
When I was eating breakfast, one of my temporary crowns came off, and apparently I swallowed it. I'm glad that I have an appointment to get the permanent ones put on tomorrow.
The movers were really nice guys and helpful. However, I discovered long after they left, that they took two boxes with my underwear, jeans, and t-shirts that were to go to Michigan. I had a stack of three boxes with stuff taken out of my dresser, and stuck a note on the top one saying, "Do not take". So they left the top one and took the other two. Le sigh. There are a million boxes in the storage area, so they won't be easy to find. Later today, I'm going to go to Meijer's to buy some emergency supplies.
The guys came to steam-clean the carpet today, and the carpet looks terrific. Our plan is for me to finish packing the few remaining items, and then clean.
I am so tired.
