Zara Is One Lucky Cat

We set up the TV for Zara, and played a video of Casper cartoons to test that the VCR works. It does, and the picture quality is pretty good. The VCR part has an automatic rewind, which is nice. Zara has been watching it on and off, but she doesn't seem to know what to make of it. The problem is that I've started watching it too! We have another video about the jungle that I'll play later for her.

Even if she gets bored with it, I could put it in my bedroom (after I get a new job and move) to watch videos in bed.

One mystery solved. I was wondering why my mom had a Casper cartoon, and she bought it at the same rummage sale to test the TV. No, I haven't discovered her secret vice -;)

Speaking of TV, I feel guilty when I watch TV, like I should be doing something else.
