Midwesterner Again

days_unfoldingI'm back temporarily in the Detroit area to pick up the cats and bring them to Bloomington. En route, I was surprised to see a sign in Chicago saying that it was 10 degrees F; it didn't seem that cold. When I arrived in Southfield, I was thinking, "Oh, it's much warmer here." 18 degrees F. I was wearing my lighter coat too.
Because it really is megafreaking cold, I want to get an early a start as possible because it'll be warmer during the day. I don't want any catsickles. I'll also throw a velour blanket (which is surprisingly warm) over their carriers.
Harlee is alternating being lovey and bitching at me for leaving. Little does she know what's in store for her tomorrow....
