Enough With the Snow Already

Another big winter snowstorm is heading our way. You already can see it on the radar looking menacing, and Jacksonville (where I used to work) is already getting hit with freezing rain. I have homework that I'm trying to finish up, but I guess I better throw myself together and run a couple of errands before the snow hits. After what happened with the last storm, I'm taking this one seriously. And they're predicting 4 to 6 inches of snow.

The only reason that I know about it is that I got a call from the people who are supposed to deliver the freezer tomorrow, and they told me when they'll be there "if they can get through the snow". That sent me scrambling to look at the weather forecast.

Have I mentioned that I hate winter?

One inch of snow and counting....The grocery store was packed with the combination of it being Friday and the storm. I now have enough food for days, although I think that it would be a good idea to go to work on Monday :) I bought a second snow brush, but, unfortunately, left it in the grocery cart when I loaded the car. I hope that someone makes good use of it....Which reminds me, I haven't heard anything about the car being fixed, but the claims office is closed now.
